Our FP&A Analyst supports the Manager of FP&A in providing the enterprise with value-added financial analytics. This hands-on corporate finance position reports to the FP&A Manager and is a key member of the corporate finance team. This individual is responsible for preparing forecasts and analysis of results in support of business objectives, assisting in the budget process, and providing executive reporting. The candidate must be a cross-functional team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to think outside the box, while building and maintaining productive positive relationships with dispersed business units and management teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the aggregation and preparation of various forecasts, for a fast-growing enterprise. Includes reconciliation of those forecasts to actual. Accurate forecasts will require discovering, compiling, and analyzing financial and nonfinancial data

Complete complex analysis, provide sensitivity analysis and data, and make sound recommendations

Prepare ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations to FP&A Manager to report out findings

Communicates relevant financial information on a timely basis to internal teams

Performs other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred

One to two years’ progressive finance or big four experience, including involvement with complex spreadsheet models

Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Strong analytical skills; able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives, and drive positive change

Good grasp of accounting concepts as they relate to corporate financial analysis and preparation of forecasted financial statements

Demonstrated ability to analyze and understand research from both public and private sources
