Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team, including sales, warehouse, and administrative staff.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment focused on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and drive team accountability.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, and customer service.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries of roofing supplies to customers.
- Implement and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Sales & Customer Relations:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and other customers in the roofing industry.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s market presence.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Monitor key financial metrics such as sales, margins, and operational costs.
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to ensure profitability.
- Supplier Relations:
- Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive rates and reliable supply.
- Ensure optimal stock levels and manage purchasing decisions.
- Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the long-term strategy and business development of the company.
- Assess market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on new product offerings and market expansion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in operations, sales, or general management, ideally within the building materials or construction industry.
- Must be Bilingual (Spanish)
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong knowledge of the roofing industry and building materials supply chain.
- Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
- Proficiency with business management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, CRM software).
