Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team, including sales, warehouse, and administrative staff.
    • Foster a positive and motivating work environment focused on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and drive team accountability.
  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, and customer service.
    • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries of roofing supplies to customers.
    • Implement and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Sales & Customer Relations:
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and other customers in the roofing industry.
    • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s market presence.
    • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Monitor key financial metrics such as sales, margins, and operational costs.
    • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to ensure profitability.
  • Supplier Relations:
    • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive rates and reliable supply.
    • Ensure optimal stock levels and manage purchasing decisions.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to the long-term strategy and business development of the company.
    • Assess market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership on new product offerings and market expansion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, sales, or general management, ideally within the building materials or construction industry.
  • Must be Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the roofing industry and building materials supply chain.
  • Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
  • Proficiency with business management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, CRM software).
