Specific Duties
- Lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) data infrastructure management, serving as a subject matter expert and support for UAT within the department
- Work with IT to determine best path for data implementation, configuration, migration, and integration within SFMC
- Support of current SFMC and complementary technology systems through day-to-day system maintenance and auditing
- Analytical problem solver who can clearly identify, analyze, and resolve issues as they arise, especially within the Salesforce ecosystem
- Contribute to the documentation of the SFMC data architecture and individual project documentation
- Closely work with legal and compliance teams to ensure that SFMC campaign universes meet all corporate, state, federal, and contractual regulations and standards
- Triage incoming data requests evaluating for clarity, completeness of problem/objective statement, and complexity for determination of release suitability
- Leverage critical thinking skills to improve operational data processes relative to campaign needs
- Ensure SFMC offers a user-centric data experience that allows marketing team to effectively convert consumers through campaign strategies
- Collaborate with Marketing Campaign Managers to gather campaign requirements, validate data counts/sources, and report on a variety of types of email, direct mail, SMS, digital, and telemarketing campaigns executed in SFMC
- Maintain and document technical processes and marketing automation procedures and provide seamless hand-off to business users to utilize
- Work with team to develop statistically valid campaign tests, with cells appropriately tracked to ensure accurate results
- Identify opportunities to build and add data-driven solutions that help marketing teams tailor SFMC campaigns to customer behavior, preferences, and multi-channel initiatives
- Enhance marketing attribution model that associates relative metrics to individual and/or comprehensive marketing vehicle communications across campaigns
- Track, report, and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports using SQL, predictive intelligence and out of the box reporting in SFMC, spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytic tools (Google Analytics 360 Dashboards), etc.
- Track historical marketing campaigns to provide benchmarks, evaluate results, and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions
Minimum Experience
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) required, working hands-on in implementations involving integrations with Salesforce core and other platforms preferred
- Knowledge of programming languages in SFMC, specific to AMPscript and SQL (and Query Studio experience)
- Knowledge of JavaScript programming preferred
- Hands on experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
- Experience building and automating management level reporting
- Mastery of analytical tools and reporting in Excel and SQL
