We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with a strong background in hotel accounting and expertise in Opera ERP System. The Senior Property Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage financial reporting for assigned hotel properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.

Utilize Opera ERP System to track and manage revenue, expenses, and financial transactions.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger accounts.

Work closely with hotel management to analyze financial performance and provide insights for operational improvements.

Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and internal controls.

Support and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.

Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and stakeholders as required.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

5+ years of accounting experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel property accounting.

Proficiency in Opera ERP System and other hotel property management systems.

Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
